Feeding Your Sulcata Tortoise

The home you provide for your Sulcata needs different kinds of grasses for food. Access to land with fresh grasses to graze will offer 90% of their food requirements.

Note, however, that the grasses should be chemical-free as that could turn toxic and poison them.

Your tortoise will thrive if its new home offers grass diversity, including Hibiscus, Rose petals, Edible flowers, Clover, etc., with sufficient grasses. Feeding a sulcata tortoise is relatively easy, without the need for any expensive foods from the grocery store.
